Onshore Wind Platform

Onshore wind energy is the leading source of renewable energy in North America. The U.S. has set ambitious targets to expand onshore wind capacity, aiming to reach 280 GW of installed capacity within the next decade. In 2022 alone, $13 billion was allocated to new wind projects. In Canada, more wind energy capacity has been installed over the last decade than any other form of energy generation.

As North America continues to expand its wind energy portfolio, the potential and opportunities it presents significant opportunities for Danish companies to contribute with their know-how and solutions.

The Onshore Wind Platform fosters collaboration and knowledge sharing among Danish companies operating in the North American onshore wind sector. Our mission is to create strong synergies, enabling Danish onshore wind technology to thrive and expand in the North American market.

Through the Onshore Wind Platform, our dedicated advisors across North America promote Danish onshore wind expertise and innovation, provide members with updates on the North American onshore wind industry and facilitate partnerships between Danish and North American companies and project developers for mutual success.

The Onshore Wind Platform is a joint initiative between The Trade Council of Denmark in North America and Danish Wind Export.
