The US goes to Denmark

Welcome Reception

Join us on October 10, 2023 at 6:00 PM for a reception at Eigtveds Pakhus to welcome a delegation from the US looking to explore the Danish energy industry and potential cross-Atlantic partnerships.

The US-Denmark Green Hydrogen Alliance invites you to a reception at Eigtveds Parkhus to welcome a delegation of 25 government stakeholders from the US energy sector to Denmark.

With strong political focus and record-breaking investments in hydrogen hubs and Power-to-X projects, the U.S. is set to become a leading force in hydrogen production. The introduction of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) will allocate USD 369 billion in funding for climate mitigation initiatives.

Moreover, with provisions aimed at reducing manufacturing and mining costs and a 10-year production tax credit for clean hydrogen production, the IRA offers clean hydrogen a starring role in the U.S. energy transition. And so, if Danish companies want to be part of the hydrogen developments in the US, now is the time to foster partnerships across the Atlantic.

Over the course of a week the group of US government officials will visit Danish energy companies across the country, fostering partnership and gaining insight in new developments with the Danish Power-to-X sector, everything from maritime to biogas, to wind energy.

During the US-Denmark Green Hydrogen Alliance's reception on October 10, Danish companies will have the opportunity to network the delegation participants and other leading Danish energy stakeholders.
