Reception for Danish Energy delegation
Join us on Monday, June 3rd at Emera IDEA Building Atrium at 5:00 PM for a reception to learn more about Denmark’s green transition and meet leading Danish energy companies!
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, Danish Industry and Danish Energy Export are delighted to invite you to a reception to welcome a delegation of Danish hydrogen and wind companies to Halifax, Nova Scotia.
With ambitions to transition to a fossil free energy system by 2050, Denmark is widely viewed as a global leader in wind energy, energy efficiency and biogas solutions. The country is now developing its abundant wind resources to decarbonize its hard-to-abate sectors through direct electrification and green hydrogen.
In addition to making history by launching the world’s first “Power-to-X” tender in 2023, Denmark is now taking its leadership to the next level with plans to create dedicated offshore energy islands combining wind power and hydrogen production.
Over the course of a week, a diverse group of eight Danish energy companies will visit Atlantic Canada to engage with leaders in the public and private sectors, and explore new opportunities and partnerships to accelerate the deployment of renewables and green hydrogen.
This reception is a great opportunity to meet and network with companies leading the energy transition in Denmark and beyond. We hope you will join us on June 3rd from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM by registering below.
Location: Emera IDEA Building Atrium, 345 Norma Eddy Ln, Halifax, NS B3J 1B6
