Our export promotions are targeted at companies and creative industry players, affording you and your company greater knowledge of market and business conditions and forging strategic alliance through facilitating contact to new business partners in the export markets.
The Trade Council itself acts an extra sales channel that can secure new export opportunities for your company during visits by foreign business delegations. We undertake this role when, for example, we invite Chinese furniture manufacturers or Canadian architects to visit Denmark in order to enhance their knowledge of Danish design, Danish fashion and textiles, architecture and furniture design.
What does the market look like?
Denmark is a world-famous design nation and experiences strong demand for furniture design, Danish fashion and textiles, Nordic design and architecture. These four sectors generate exports totalling DKK 75 billion annually and have all experienced an increase in their exports in recent years. The key markets for Denmark’s design exports are Germany, Norway, Sweden, Holland and the UK.
