The U.S. hosts over 5,400 data centers and remains the world’s largest capacity base, with the sector valued at $121 billion in 2024 and projected to grow to nearly $358 billion by 2034.

With our Danish Data Center Alliance, we support Danish companies in navigating and scaling within North America’s rapidly expanding data center market. As data center electricity use rose to 4.4% of total U.S. power consumption in 2023 and could reach 12% by 2028, the demand for secure, cost-efficient, and low-carbon energy solutions is surging.
