São Paulo

São paulo is latin america’s economic engine

Brazil’s growth centre has a strong tech-focus offering your company an opportunity to reach 208 million inhabitants.

With more than 208 million inhabitants, Brazil is the world’s fifth-largest country and eighth-largest economy. The country is one of the key players within production, research and innovation in the agriculture and food sectors – particularly within the bio-energy field.

Brazil has a large and growing middle-class as well as a population willing to embrace new technologies. This provides good opportunities for tech-based solutions.

São Paulo is the region’s economic engine and also home to Latin America’s most important research and innovation hub. The state boasts Latin America’s best universities and a large talent pool of young entrepreneurs.

Incubators and new tech-companies are sprouting up within MedTech, EdTech, AgriTech and FinTech – often as joint ventures with the large, well-established industries. São Paulo’s FinTech cluster is a good example of such a venture, where two of the world’s largest banks, Brazilian Bradesco and Itau, have embraced collaboration with new FinTech start-ups and invest massively.
