North America The Offshore Wind Energy Market
Read moreThe U.S. is one of the largest markets in the world and its offshore wind market is no exception. The U.S. Department of Energy found the U.S. could install 86 GW of offshore wind by 2050; this would create tens of thousands of jobs in every U.S. state and particularly in coastal regions, it would require around $400-billion in capital investment and would generate about 10 % of U.S. electricity needs.
